Over the past 40 years, I have crocheted many custom orders. Here are some of them
My Father, a music professor, ordered a Cossack hat in very conservative colors.
A lady from Mark's Coffee Shop ordered a baby blanket for her baby girl that looked like a flag in reds and pinks.
I made a beautiful wool coat for Linda Siglin, manager of The Ark. A tragic dryer mishap left it a perfect fit for Anya,
Dave and Linda's 8 or 10 year old daughter.
An I B M worker bought a neck tie which he needed for work.
My accountant, Larry, bought 2 hats. One was a beret that had the entire solar system on it. The other was a Victorian
high hat with a pocket inside.
Larry also ordered somewhat matching hats for his cousins, a Mother and Daughter, in green, brown, and copper colors.
I made a pair of thigh high boots for Margie.
After a trip to Morocco, my friend Buzz ordered a Jalava (a long pullover coat with a hood).
I have made several ponchos for kids that were brought back and made bigger as the kid grew.
My friend Roger ordered a poncho with a hood and black lightning on the front.
I made a sweater for Claud, a Weymeriener dog.
Several dancers have ordered leg warmers.
I made dolls for my granddaughters Courtney and Lynnsey.
My friend Jack had a room with 7 odd angles. He wanted a sculpture to hang down from the corner, so I created what we
called " A Thalidomide Octopus", a 7 armed thing.
A friend from Boston wanted a triangle flag hat. I made red and white stripes with a field of blue and a white star on
the top.
I have made astrological signs on shoulder bags, coats scarves, wall hangings, etc.
Several guitar and bass players have ordered straps for their instruments. My friend Bob says his is very comfortable.
A high fashion photographer from Newberry Street, in Boston, ordered a pair of bell bottom pants with suspenders.
I made wristbands for my friend Norman. He felt that the right colors in the right order affected the quality of his life.
I also made a beautiful poncho for Norman.
Several people have ordered Christmas tree ornaments.
I have made plant hangers to fit specific plants.
I made stocking caps that were long enough to also be scarves.
Some parents have ordered exactly matching hats for themselves and their kids.
I've made coffee cup cozies to keep the coffee warm and beer cozies to keep the beer cold.
My friend Paul ordered super warm mittens for skiing.
A man from Boston ordered a backpack.
My friend Tom ordered seat covers and a steering wheel cover in red, gold and green for his truck.
I have also made custom color combinations for most of my various products.
I can make exactly matching clothes for pets and owners, any shape cushion covers, teapot cozies, lampshades, some pictures
or symbols, or possibly whatever you want.
If you would like to order a customized item, please contact me at thesecurityblanketco@earthlink.net and we'll discuss
